ποΈ Marco Odermatt & Pat Burgener in Zermatt: When a Ride Turns Into a Race
It started with a coffee. It ended with a race.
Marco Odermatt and Pat Burgener arrived in Zermatt on their Maverick Beasts. They wanted a ride. They got a race. You know what they say: you can't stop a champion from being a champion β‘.
β°οΈ Zermatt: The Ultimate Playground for the Maverick Beasts
There aren't many places in Switzerland that truly deserve the title of ultimate playground. Zermatt is one of them. At the foot of the Matterhorn, in the heart of the Valais Alps, the resort offers a setting worthy of a bike like the Maverick Beast: wild, demanding and spectacular.
A breathtaking setting
Riding in Zermatt means tackling one singletrack after another, crossing paths with marmots and having the Matterhorn as a backdrop around every corner. It's a truly unique setting that brings out the personality of our fully-suspended e-MTB, the lightest in its category.
A real-world test for the Maverick Beast
It's precisely on this kind of terrain that the Maverick Beast shows its full potential: all-mountain geometry, finely tuned suspension and a record-low weight in its power category. A bike built to take on anything β even when two champions are behind the handlebars.

πΏ Marco Odermatt: He Skis Downhill, He Rides Uphill
He skis downhill. He rides uphill β‘
Marco Odermatt, in Zermatt, on his Maverick Beast. Speed, jumps, rocks. The words "chill ride" simply aren't part of his vocabulary. For Marco, even a relaxed outing turns into an Olympic warm-up.
Marco needs no introduction. A three-time winner of the overall Alpine Skiing World Cup crystal globe, Olympic champion and Alpine Skiing World Champion, he embodies everything MILOO stands for: high standards, precision and total commitment. On a bike just as on skis, he follows the same rule: never do anything by halves.
π Pat Burgener: Freestyle Without the Snow
Pat Burgener, in Zermatt, on his Maverick Beast. Speed, jumps, rocks. Even without snow, freestyle follows him everywhere.
A professional snowboarder and musician, Pat Burgener embodies the Swiss freestyle spirit: creative, committed and completely free. On his Maverick Beast, he brings his rider's DNA to the trails β finding the line, playing with the terrain and turning every descent into a show.
βοΈ Two Champions, One Playground
Put an Olympic skiing champion and a professional freestyle snowboarder on Maverick Beasts in the mountains of Zermatt, and guess what happens ?
Exactly what was bound to happen. They wanted a ride. They got a race.
Each with their own style, each with their preferred terrain. But with the same desire: to push limits and turn every ride into a challenge. That's the shared DNA of Marco Odermatt and Pat Burgener. And that's what naturally brings them closer to the MILOO philosophy.
π² Maverick Beast: The Bike That Goes Anywhere with Champions
The Maverick Beast is not just another bike. It's our premium fully-suspended e-MTB, designed for riders who want a bike that can follow them anywhere β from Alpine singletracks to urban commutes.
The lightest fully-suspended bike in its power category

Up to 120 Nm of torque to take on anything
With a 750W or 850W motor (optional) and up to 120 Nm of torque, the Maverick Beast has the muscle to handle whatever Zermatt β or the Jura or Pre-Alps β can throw at it.
25 km/h and 45 km/h versions
Depending on your use and applicable legislation, the Maverick Beast is available in a 25 km/h version (standard e-bike) or a 45 km/h version (speed bike / S-Pedelec).
