❄️ How to properly protect your Miloo e-bike battery during winter
Why is it important to take care of your battery in cold weather?
Even though your Miloo electric bike is built for year-round use, we know that many riders tend to use their BEAST less frequently during the winter months.
As a result, your e-bike’s battery may sit idle for several weeks or even months — which can negatively affect its long-term performance.
To keep your Miloo and its battery in peak condition for the upcoming riding season, here are 6 simple yet essential tips.
💪 Riding your Miloo this winter? Here are 3 smart tips for safe winter use
1. Recharge the battery after every ride
Maintaining a good charge level protects the internal cells and extends the battery’s lifespan.
2. Avoid full battery discharge at all costs
A battery that’s frequently drained in cold weather will degrade much faster.
3. Don’t push the battery when it’s cold
In winter, avoid full-throttle acceleration right away. Let the battery naturally "warm up" before demanding full power.
📦 Not using your BEAST this winter? Follow these 3 storage rules
4. Store the battery in a dry and warm place
If your e-bike is parked outside, remove the battery and store it indoors where the temperature is between 10°C and 20°C, and the environment is dry.
5. Keep the battery charged between 50% and 70%
Not empty, not full — this charge level is ideal for preserving battery health during inactivity.
6. Recharge the battery every 8 weeks
It’s normal for a battery to self-discharge slowly when not in use. Reconnect it regularly to maintain performance.
